FORMAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
The education section is headed by a Head teacher with a team of 14 teaching staff.
Head teacher is in charge of the assessment, placement and admission of pupils, along with supervision of teaching and learning process.
Since rehabilitation is a continuous process and is part and parcel of the lives of cp children, therapy is integrated in the daily class timetable

Ksph begins with a reception class, stressing continuous individual assessment to prepare the pupils for primary one.
In all classes, children are grouped according to their learning challenges with one lesson plan, having more than three approaches, to effectively help the individual children.
Its functional teaching, seeking to orient every child toward their maximum independence and development e.g. one group is of pupils who can learn the uganda national curriculum with adapted teaching, another group trained stressing the vocational aspect of the lesson, learning the vocational skills and yet another group stressing self help skills, activities of daily living, etc..

At primary seven, the pupils sit for primary living exams, however, arrangements are made with uganda national examination board, to have individual examination transcribers for pupils with respective challenges.
Specialized equipment e.g. thick padded pencils for pupils with poor grip, desk / chair seat for those using feet to write, special desks for wheelchair users, etc are designed with therapists to facilitate the respective pupils’ learning challenges.
